Remembering Meghan
Meghan Brady Merkert lived with grace, warmth, and an unshakeable belief in the power of community and connection. A devoted wife to Hayes, a loving mother to Peyton and Margot, and an expectant mother to Ainsley, Meghan's life was defined by the love she gave and the lives she touched.
On December 20, 2024, Meghan passed suddenly, leaving behind her husband Eugene "Hayes" Merkert, III; her parents Amy Laura (nee Keepers) and Edward P. "Ned" Brady, III; her daughters Peyton and Margot, and her unborn daughter Ainsley; her parents-in-law Molly (nee Dixon) and Eugene Hayes Merkert, Jr.; her siblings-in-law Maggie Merkert Cox and James Cox, and John Michael Merkert; her uncle Gregory S. Brady and Lisa; her cousins Allison Brady and James Brady and his wife Anne; and countless friends and extended family who will carry her memory forward.
Meghan believed deeply in education, kindness, and showing up for others. This foundation exists to honor that belief—to support families, create opportunity, and build the kind of community Meghan championed throughout her life.
